Our history

Moo & Oink has been part of Chicago’s food story for five decades. While the original stores closed years ago, the brand itself never went away. What people loved, the recipes, the flavor, and the personality continues today. Moo & Oink lives on in grocery stores across the region, still delivering the bold taste and familiar favorites people have always known.

Moo & Oink’s ambassadors are Moo and his pal Oink, larger-than-life characters who bring the brand’s joy and personality to life at store events and special promotions. Wherever they go, they remind people that Moo & Oink is about good food, shared moments, and a little happiness along the way.

Over time, the Moo & Oink family has grown. Gobble joined the fun in 2011 to represent our Turkey Links, and in 2026 we are welcoming Cluck, our newest character, representing our new Chicken Links.
